The Cast
Victor Del Rio (Jimmy) is a 21 year old actor out of New Jersey. He has been acting for 21 years and is in his third year at Rutgers University, where he studies Theatre. He uses acting as a means of expressing himself truthfully and hopes to one day make an impact in the world with his performances. He is extremely excited to have you come see this show.
Amelia Fowler (Tanya), a native of Brooklyn, New York, has been seen on the TV shows BULL, The Blacklist, Orange is the New Black, Blue Bloods and Mysteries of Laura; in the motion pictures Learning to Drive and Monica Z; as well as, commercial spots for Cablevision, the History Channel, IFC and Facebook. Amelia has also had the good fortune to perform in the GLAAD award-winning She Like Girls at the Ohio Theater as Regina, and her one woman show Flozetta, performed at HERE as part of the “Downtown Urban Theater Festival" and as part of “The First Stories Series” presented by The Phoenix Theatre Ensemble. Ms. Fowler additionally has the immense pleasure of touring with the fabulous improv troupes: “Comedy Sportz - New York City” and “Eight is Never Enough.” She is thrilled to have the good fortune to join the cast of Brooklyn of Light.
Charlie Leeder (Rusty) was last seen as Gremio in Hudson Shakespeare Company’s Production of Taming of the Shrew. Favorite roles include: Doolittle in My Fair Lady, the MC in Cabaret, and Bob Lewis in the Gentle Present, which he wrote and which was produced in 2013. Charlie was recently on tour with the Musical Children’s Band "Joy and the Toys," for which he was the composer, musical arranger and lead vocalist. An active musician, juggler, composer, actor and playwright, Charlie has written the longest running show in the history of New Hope, Pennsylvania, A Catered Affair, which ran for sixty weeks at the Tow Path Dinner Theatre. Audiences may remember him as Charlie the Answer Man in the popular television show “Meadowlands Marquee” which ran on PBS. His latest project, Recognize Your Enemy, will be live on stage in the Spring of 2018.
Eric Lerner (Jason) is extremely proud to be joining the cast of Brooklyn of Light. Eric is a Brooklyn native and started the Theatre program at Mark Twain Middle School this fall. He first appeared on stage as Prince Charming in The AlphaNYC Theater production of Cinderella. This summer, he performed in several plays at Gi60: The International One-Minute Play Festival, and had a supporting role in a short film, Secrets of the Grail. Prior to his acting debut, Eric was a competitive ballroom dancer. He is also an avid gamer and recently started his own YouTube channel. Eric would like to thank his family for their love and support. He also thanks the cast and crew of Brooklyn of Light for allowing him to enjoy this valuable experience.
Maureen O'Boyle (Mona) is an actor and voiceover artist living in NYC. Recent NY theater includes Macbeth, The Rimers of Eldritch (Snapped Productions), Father’s Day (White Rabbit Productions), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Original Binding Productions), Allie’s Appendix (Planet Connections Theatre Festivity), The Picture of Dorian Gray, Good Lonely People, The Oath (MTWorks), Antigone/Progeny (Extant Arts) and Strangers (Dixon Place). All-time favorites include Pentecost (Burning Coal Theatre Company) and The Castle (The Somnambulist Project).
Sean Pritchard (Chester) was born and still resides in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. He began studying acting at H.B. Studio in NYC, where one of his teachers was Jill Clayburgh. Other instructors who made a lasting impression on Sean were Trudy Steibel, Elizabeth Dillon, Allen Dauber, and Maria Greco of the NY Film Center. Sean has been on stage in such diverse roles as a talk show producer, court jester, homeless man, Gulf war veteran, and in All About Walken - The Impersonators of Christopher Walken, Sean played Christopher Walken. He has been on T.V. in the Biography Channel series Breaking Vegas, playing a con-man who rigged slot machines and stole a hundred grand, and was a finalist in the Starz cable network series Looking For Stars. Sean starred in several commercial spots for the Cooking Channel, as well as the independent films Alive & Well (playing a military interrogator), Old Monster (playing a diner owner), The Second of June (playing a former drug & alcohol abuser trying to reconnect with his estranged daughter), and A Dangerous Cure (playing Dr. Helious). spritchard.com
Meghan Roberts (Susan) is a Manhattan-based actor and is excited and fortunate to be joining the cast of Brooklyn of Light! She recently graduated from the conservatory at Stella Adler Studio of Acting, where she was last seen playing the role of Bobbi in Some Girls by Neil Labute this past spring. She played a principal role in the upcoming feature comedy How to Get Girls (2018) and has appeared on shows such as Bull, Gossip Girl and Amazon’s Style Code Live. Prior to her acting studies, she graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Film and Television production.
